LifeSteps Youth Coalition – Zero Alcohol Campaign is a youth-led, adult-supported, community-wide campaign to address underage drinking in communities across Williamson County.
It’s a FREE training empowered by LifeSteps Substance Abuse Prevention Coalition in partnership with Texans Standing Tall. The campaign is a step-by-step process that engages students in data collection, building capacity, and planning environmental strategy to raise awareness about underage drinking in the community. It’s a great opportunity to learn a variety of skills including public speaking and working with the media.
The first meeting will be held on Saturday, September 27, from 1-5pm at LifeSteps Round Rock office. The training requires a monthly meeting/activity for a period of 8-10 months.
